lap pool

The 25-meter main pool at Lake Forest Health & Fitness Center is available to members of all ages for aqua classes, lap workouts or a refreshing post-workout swim. A full range of classes and open swim hours mean that you can include lap swimming before or after your workout, or incorporate swimming as part of a cross-training routine.

Our multi-purpose main pool has six lanes with a temperature ranging from 80 to 84 degrees, and is surrounded by vast views of the natural prairie landscape outside.

Water Workout Tips

  • Water shoes are recommended for aqua class.
  • Don’t forget your water bottle! It is very important to stay hydrated during your workout.
  • Please shower before entering the pool.
  • The eastern-most lane line will not be included in a class unless there are a minimum of 10 participants. When not utilized for a class, the lane will remain available to lap swimmers.
